Lace-Ups for Less

Lace-up sandals and ghillies are big this year, and it's nearly impossible to walk into a clothing store these days without laying eyes on this style shoe. With all those fashion bloggers out there making their living by styling outfits based on whatever is on trend at the moment (um, the dream), it's easy to get shoe envy, especially if you're like me and your pockets don't run quite that deep for a pair of designer shoes.

Anxious to try this trend but not wanting to shell out a couple hundred dollars on a pair of shoes, I made it my mission to find a few pairs of great designer dupes. Check out my favorite ones that I found below!

I loved this Ivanka Trump pair when I found them styled on another blog (here and here), but I've noticed that my size is almost always sold out and the price is a bit too steep for me. Shout out to Liliana for creating this nearly identical pair that's much easier to swallow at only $35. The shoes are shown below in different colors, but both come in a cognac and black option if you can catch them on a day when they aren't sold out!

Dolce Vita combines two of my favorite styles in one shoe with a lace-up sandal and block heel in one. This Groove pair is not an exact match in style, but has a very similar feel and is $100 more affordable. The best deal I've found, however, is this pair from Old Navy. I purchased these shoes from Old Navy during a sale in a black snake skin pattern that is no longer available, but love the cognac option equally as much.

Stuart Weitzman makes an adorable pair of ghillies that come in multiple colors, but you certainly pay for the designer name in this case.  I found this pair of ghillies by Chinese Laundry. You do lose some of the color choices, but these are less than 25% the cost and come extremely close in style to the designer version.
