Happy Friday, friends! The weather this week in Central Kentucky was gorgeous, and we spent a lot of time outside to enjoy it as much as possible. Sarah's first bridal shower is this weekend, so we're looking forward to that! Here are a few of our favorites from this week!
I'm not sure if it the summer weather or something else, but my skin has reverted back to my teenage days this past month. I've used this mask 2-3 times per week, and it seems to be helping. - Laura
I just zipped through The Orphan Train and loved it! In full confession, it is the common reading for incoming freshman at UK next year, and I have to incorporate it into a class I'm teaching this fall, which is what prompted me to read it. However, this book has been popular for several months now for good reason. If you're looking for a thoughtful summer read, I definitely recommend it. - Laura
If you like ice cream and haven't tried Halo Top yet, you should. An ice cream that is low-calorie and low-sugar with real ingredients sounds too good to be true, but luckily it isn't. Ice cream lovers rejoice! - Laura
You know those little chores that seem to sit around and never get done? For me, that chore has been getting a watercolor that I purchased in Budapest last year framed. As soon as I found out it didn't fit the dimensions needed to get it framed at my local Hobby Lobby, onto the top of my bookshelf it went, and it has been sitting there for over a year. I recently discovered Framebridge, which is an online service that does custom framing. Now I've just got to bring myself to mail the watercolor in... - Sarah
