Shew! It's been a busy week in our corners of the world! Sarah has been a wedding-planning fiend, and Laura has been running around at work getting ready for students to come back to campus. For many parts of Kentucky, last week was the first week of school. No matter how old I get, this time of year always makes me a little nostalgic for all the back-to-school shopping, the perfect clunky new sneakers, and the first day jitters. The absolute best part about heading back to school was picking out school supplies. This has me reminiscing big time. Will I ever forget the scent of Mr. Sketch?
Laura is heading to Lexington's Picnic with the Pops this weekend at Keeneland and planning to make one of her favorite summer desserts - plum upside down cake.
Not sure why, but this song has been on repeat this week. It is great for subtly dancing in your chair at work.
Has anyone else seen these insane dorm rooms at Ole Miss? It has me thinking back to my own freshman dorm room. My roommate and I had a few colorful quilts with some fun pillows, and we thought our room was looking great. These rooms put us to shame!
Ina Garten can do no wrong, and she and Jeffrey have us swooning over their new NYC pied-à-terre.
